Placement Trends 2020 at PCCOE, PCCOER and NMIET

Undoubtedly, amid the pandemic, PCET-NUTAN students had the most exhilarating moment of a lifetime as the batch received 323 job offers from Capgemini.

Capgemini being the only recruiter turned out to be a mass recruiter. Roping in all 323 students graduating in 2021 from PCCOER, PCCOE and NMIET

About 718 students took part in the drive with 574 students making it to the Pseudocode and Verbal round and further 428 to Gamification round. Finally, 323 students received final job offers.

COVID-19 Impact: Capgemini Changes Hiring Process for the New Normal

With the students attending Capgemini’s drive, the organisation brought a whole new approach to the hiring process.

For the first time, a company chose to conduct a Personality Test (Behavioural Test) to assess students appearing in the selection process. This aided in gauging the inner strengths of candidates accurately.

In lieu of Aptitude test, Capgemini held a gamification round for assessment of candidates.

In the wake of COVID-19 crisis, as analysts predict a slowdown in the job market, students are having nightmares to receive bleak job offers.

However, keeping out of all such speculations, PCET-NUTAN have been rather thankful to Capgemini for a smooth Virtual and Automated selection process. This has been the best of experience for T&P Cell and students of PCET-NUTAN.

As per reports from Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering, differential placements are the key to success. It has collaterally helped students secure coveted roles with a spurt in salary packages since the past year.
