Patna University has extended the last date for the online submission of forms for admission to the conventional postgraduate (PG) programs by 5 October 2020.
H N Prasad, vice-chancellor of Patna University took this decision due to the non-publication of results of the Degree Part III exams.
On the other hand, the deadline to submit the application forms for all self-financing PG courses has ended. The entrance tests for the same are rescheduled in October.
While the exam for admission to various undergraduate (UG) courses will be held between September 26 and 30.
As per the revised academic calendar released on Monday, the last date for admission to all UG and PG courses, including the conventional and the self-financing modes, would be October 31, 2020.
Following the admission procedure, the Induction process will be conducted from November 2, 2020 to November 5, 2020. While the classes of the new batch shall begin on 5 November 2020.
Furthermore, the university would conduct the pending Degree Part III examinations with all precautionary measures at five centers on Monday.
Regarding the result, R K Mandal, PU examination controller, said, “Now, we will try to publish the results as soon as possible so that students can apply for admission to the PG courses.”
During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Munger University has also made similar arrangements to conduct its first offline examination of Degree Part II courses.
R K Verma, the vice-chancellor of the university said “Strict guidelines have been issued to the centers for adhering to social distancing and sanitization norms and ensuring complete frisking of examinees at the entry points.”
