In a notification issued by the Government of Telangana and TSCHE, Hyderabad, the state government has given its nod for commencement of online classes.
According to the notification, online classes across virtual platforms such as TV and T-SAT can now begin for all UG and PG courses from September 1, 2020 onwards. This has been made applicable across all colleges that are affiliated to Palamuru University.
The government has also advised the teachers at all the colleges to prepare the plan of action beforehand and be punctual to the colleges on a regular basis. This shall be in effect from 27th August, 2020.
The teachers have also been informed to prepare the study material in a digital format for effective communication. The classes will all be conducted in digital mode and hence the subject matter including assignments, assessment and e-content should be made available across the platforms accessible to students.

As for the reopening of colleges and offline classes, the state government will wait for a more conducive scenario to release the guidelines. This will be upon announcement of the decision from the Central Government. The schedule for UG and PG examinations is yet to be finalized as it is awaiting approval of the Supreme Court.
Until the state government issues any further instructions, all other facilities such as hostels, libraries and other locations for any kind of physical gathering will stay inaccessible.
