New Delhi: As per the latest updates, a total of 168 universities from across the country have implemented CUET 2023 for admission to Undergraduate (UG) programs. The number of CUET UG participating colleges has increased from last year’s 90 institutions.

In light of an increase in participation from universities, the exam authority has extended the last date to register for CUET UG 2023 till March 30, 2023. Earlier, the last date to apply for the Common University Entrance Test (UG) was March 12, 2023. 

Candidates who wish to apply for admission to various undergraduate courses offered by central universities of India as well as other CUET UG participating institutes are required to submit their registrations for the exam through the NTA’s official website. 

In the list of participating institutes, over 168 universities including 31 state universities and 44 central universities have adopted CUET for a variety of programs, including Barkatullah University Bhopal, Delhi University, and Jamia Millia Islamia among others. 

Informing about the data, senior officials shared, “There are 27 deemed universities which will admit students based on CUET scores for their undergraduate programs. Sixty-six private universities too are participating in the common entrance test this year which include Bennett University, Uttar Pradesh, NIIT University, Rajasthan, and UPES, Dehradun”.

According to previous statements made by the UGC, admission to UG courses at Central Universities will be done by a common entrance test instead of Class 12 grades. The new academic session will start in August 2023 and the admission process will end on July 01, 2023. 

Interested and eligible candidates who are preparing to appear for the entrance exam are advised to go through the detailed CUET UG 2023 eligibility criteria, detailed notification and other related details available on the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in.

After the CUET UG 2023 Registrations, the exam authority will open the window for CUET 2023 application corrections. Applicants can update their applications between March 15 to March 18, 2023, if they filled out the form incorrectly or uploaded the wrong documents.

Following the CUET UG 2023 Dates, the entrance test will be held from May 21 to May 31, 2023 for all registered candidates. While the admit card for the same will be published on NTA’s website in May 2023. For the latest updates on CUET UG, visit cuet.samarth.ac.in.
