O.P. Jindal Global University has introduced seven new academic programmes for the 2021 session admissions. Additionally, it has also inaugurated its 10th school i.e. Jindal School of Psychology & Counselling (JPSC).
PG Diploma in Data Journalism by O. P. Jindal Global University, included in the seven new programmes, has been launched for the first time in India. This university is India’s first ranked private institute and also an ‘Institute of Eminence (IoE)’.

The University is going to launch the following new programmes for 2021 admissions:
- BBA (Honours in Financial Markets)
- BBA (Honours in Family Business)
- BBA (Honours in Business Analytics)
- BFA (Honours in Fine Arts)
- BA (Honours in Finance and Entrepreneurship)
- BA (Honours in Psychology)
- PG Diploma in Data Journalism
Moreover, the Jindal School of Arts & Architecture (JSAA) will now have two new curriculum paths for the B.Des. programme. They have planned to add ‘Urban Planning’ and ‘Community Planning’ to their existing specialisation in ‘Interior Designing’.

The Ministry of Education has formally conferred JGU with the title of ‘Institute of Eminence (IoU)’ this year. JGU was positioned this year in all the three QS World University Rankings on all three levels - Asia Rankings, BRICS Ranking, and the World Rankings.
According to the latest QS University Rankings, JGU is in first place in the private universities of India and in the top 150 in the latest QS World Young University Rankings.
