New Delhi: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, celebrated worldwide on March 8, Online Manipal has announced a scholarship of 25% to the selected female applicants of all UGC-entitled online degrees offered by the Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ). According to a formal announcement, it will be available to 23 women applicants who apply between March 3, 2023 and March 12, 2023 via Online Manipal's #EmpowerHer website.

As per Manipal University Jaipur, the project strives to provide women with the crucial support they need to reinvent themselves by completing the degree they were unable to pursue or complete earlier. In honor of International Women's Day, Online Manipal has started a programme called "#EmpowerHer" that aims to empower women throughout India by providing them with UGC-accredited online degrees from Manipal University Jaipur.

Online Manipal established the #EmpowerHer programme in 2022 to do its part in assisting women who want to pursue higher education as a means of realizing their dreams. The purpose of celebrating International Women's Day, according to G Mallikarjuna, Director of Online Education at Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ), is to recognise and celebrate the accomplishments of women in all spheres of life, including social, cultural, political, and economic ones.

Online degree programmes are now regarded as one of the most important delivery systems for higher education because of its flexibility and convenience. The ability to easily manage study with other work-related and personal commitments has led to thousands of female learners enrolling in and excelling in our online programmes over the past couple of years, she continued.

The online degrees offered by MUJ are convenient and a fantastic option for women who want to break down the barriers preventing them from entering the job. This programme is considered as a chance for women to reinvent their careers and future without forgoing any of their personal or professional obligations.

Under the Online Manipal platform, major universities and institutions including the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ), and T.A. Pai Management Institute provides online undergraduate degrees, postgraduate degrees, and certificate programmes that are recognised by the UGC (TAPMI).
