OJEE Postpones Auto-Upgradation Round Allotment for BAMS & BHMS Courses; Read Details Here

New Delhi: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has recently postponed the auto-upgradation round for the BAMS and BHMS courses for session 2022-23. The announcement was shared through a detailed notification released on December 27, 2022 at ojee.nic.in.

According to the notification, the auto-upgradation round of OJEE counselling for admission to BAMS and BHMS courses for 2022–23 has been postponed and will now be issued at a later date. It will tentatively be released during the first week of January 2023 only on the official website at ojee.nic.in/notices.

The notice reads, "this is for the knowledge of all parties involved that the Auto-Upgradation Round of OJEE Counseling for Admission in BAMS / BHMS Courses for 2022–23, planned to be published on December 27, 2012, is hereby postponed and will be issued later (tentatively, in the first week of January 2023)".

Based on their merit of NEET Rank and exercised choices, all enrolled applicants are tentatively assigned seats in the first round. Reservations will be taken into account in accordance with the candidate's registration declaration.

Candidates who are interested in BAMS/BHMS counselling must be eligible for the NEET (UG)-2022 and have a good rank and they must be at least 17 years old. The candidate's parents must be legal residents of Odisha in order to be eligible for State Quota seats.

Each candidate must present a Resident / Nativity certificate during the certificate verification process (Form No.-III, See Rule-3 of Govt. of Odisha). For distribution and admission to AQI seats at private institutions, no domicile certificate will be necessary.

The candidate must have earned a +2 Sc. in each of the following: English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. General Candidates, must have received at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the +2 Science level (GE). For candidates who are from SC or ST, the eligibility requirement is lowered to 40%.

The OJEE Committee was established with the provisions of the Odisha Professional Educational Institutions Act, 2007, upon the recommendation of the Policy Planning Body, and with the Skill Development and Technical Education Department approval.

The authority organises the common entrance exam and counselling processes for admission to various UG / PG Level Professional Programs. It has worked to provide a fair, transparent, and single-window admission procedure for a variety of UG and PG-level courses in the state.
