Odisha Joint Entrance Examination authorities have released a notification regarding the start date of OJEE Counselling 2020. The web-based counselling process for B.Tech, B.Arch and Int. M.Sc will start from October 12, 2020.

Candidates who have registered for the counselling process and are eligible will be able to participate in the OJEE counselling. The authorities will soon be releasing the detailed counselling schedule, seat position and brochure on the official website ojee.nic.in.

This year is no entrance examination was conducted for B.Tech, B.Arch and Int. M.Sc courses. Following this, admissions will be done on the basis of their performance in the respective national level entrance exam.

The authorities of OJEE will consider the scores of JEE Main for admission into these courses.

OJEE counselling process will be done entirely in the online mode this year. All registered candidates will have to select their preferred choice of colleges and courses.

Candidates will be allotted seat as per their ranks in the qualifying examination preferences selected and availability of seats.

OJEE 2020 Counselling

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of merit list are eligible to appear for OJEE Counselling and Seat allotment process. Counselling is done via online mode where candidates have to first register themselves for it. Steps involved in the Counselling Procedure are:

Step 1: Registration

You have to first register by entering your personal details like address, mobile no., email id, and also bank details. Post this create a password. Then a registration slip will appear, it is recommended to take a print out of it for future reference.

Step 2: Payment of counselling Fee

Now you have to pay INR 450 as the counselling fee. The fee has to be paid online only.

Step 3: Choice Filling

In this step, candidates have to lock their choices of courses and institutes. Candidates are advised to lock the maximum number of choices in order to increase the chances of getting a seat. Then click on the ‘Save’ button.

Step 4: Seat Allotment

OJEE will release the result of seat allotment.

Step 5: Payment of University Registration Fee

Candidates satisfied with the allotted seat will have to pay the University fee of INR 10,000 (for General category) or INR 5,000/- (for Reserved category). The fee again has to be paid online only.

Step 6: Document Verification

Candidates will have to report to the nodal centres for document verification.
