The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released a fresh advisory stating the extension of the training period of the final-year DNB, DrNB, FNB trainees on Tuesday.

In consideration of the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, the NBE has given this extension and it has also been clarified that all the final year trainees of the aforesaid batches will continue to discharge the duties in these uncertain times of National exigency as may be prescribed by their hospitals. 

Previously on May 4, the NBE extended the services of DNB, DrNB, and FNB trainees as resident doctors for three months. Further, the hospitals which are accredited by NBE are required to pay the stipends to the trainees as per the stipend guidelines. 

It has also been notified by NBE that all the final year resident doctors will continue their services until the fresh batch of trainees joins or till the counseling period of the entrance exams is completed.

DNB Broad Specialty Trainees:

The trainees will continue their services till the fresh batches of trainees for the admission session 2021 join at hospitals or till counseling for the respective NEET-PG 2021, or DNB PDCET 2021 is completed, earlier.

DrNB Super Specialty Trainees:

Trainees have to continue their services till the fresh batches trainees join at the respective hospitals or till the NEET counseling Super Speciality 2021 is concluded, whichever is earlier.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has finally activated the official website of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 @neet.nta.nic.in today, on June 2, 2021. The website can be accessed by all the medical aspirants and all the latest updates about NEET will be updated and aspirants can track the latest NEET information from the website. However, there's no information regarding the exam except the introduction of NEET 2021 and a ticker that states “Online Application Form will be Available Soon”.
