New Delhi: As per the latest announcement made by University Grants Commission (UGC), the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an exclusive grievance redressal email ID for addressing issues of CUET UG 2022 registered candidates.

As per the UGC Chairman, candidates who have any questions or complaints regarding the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2022 can now submit their grievances through the official email Id created by National Testing Agency at cuetgrievance@nta.ac.in.

Informing about the initiative, M Jagadesh Kumar's official tweet reads, “The grievances of candidates regarding subject combination, medium, question paper, etc. (if any) can be sent to cuetgrievance@nta.ac.in mentioning their Application Number".

He further added that the entrance test held in the morning session on August 07, 2022 has started off well in various CUET 2022 exam centers across the country. The exam authority has taken all necessary measures to ensure the smooth commencement of the test.

The initiative to create an official grievance redressal email id for CUET UG 2022 candidates was taken after students complained about facing various issues. The issues included the cancellation of exams in various exam centers during the starting days.

To address the complaints submitted by students, the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan held a meeting with the exam authorities. The meeting discussed the issues of technical glitches found in tests in many centers over the last two days.

Earlier, the CUET UG 2022 exam was postponed for over 50 centers, where over 9,000 candidates were expected to appear for the entrance test. The decision to conduct the exam on a later date was made due to various glitches found during the entrance test.

Now, the NTA has postponed the CUET UG 2022 exam from August 24 to August 18 for the affected students. The exam authority has hinted that it will take strict action against the exam centers that fail to comply with protocols released by NTA for conducting the admission test.

Candidates whose exams have been postponed are required to keep a tab on the official website of NTA at cuet.nta.in for latest updates. The changes in CUET 2022 Schedule will be notified through SMS and email on registered phone numbers and email IDs of applicants.
