The JEE Main 2020 Admit Card which was expected to be released on August 15, 2020, has now been postponed by the National Testing Agency.

According to the official notification released by NTA, the JEE Main 2020 Admit Card is expected to be released soon. Previously, the JEE Main 2020 Admit Card  was to be released 15 days prior to the examination.

However, so far the conducting authorities have not notified any specific date with regards to release of the hall ticket of JEE Main. So, candidates are advised to check and get the latest updates about the JEE Main 2020 Admit Card on the official website.

The Supreme Court rejected the petition seeking postponement of JEE Main and NEET 2020  on August 17, 2020 (Monday). The exams will be conducted as per the schedule released by the NTA.

JEE Main 2020 is scheduled to be conducted from September 1 to September 6 while the NEET UG 2020 exam is scheduled for September 13, 2020.

Where to check JEE Main 2020 Admit Card?

The admit card for JEE Main 2020 will be available on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in/webinfo/public/home.aspx and on the official website of the exam conducting body, NTA nta.ac.in.

Candidates have to just log in with their credentials like application number and password or date of birth. In case candidates forget their credentials, they are also provided with a facility to retrieve their application number and password.

Earlier a notification indicating the release of JEE Main admit card on August 15, read, "The dates of downloading Admit Card indicating Roll Number and Centre of Examination will be displayed 15 days prior the conduct of the examination, on the official websites of NTA and JEE Main."

The apex court had been hearing a multitude of pleas regarding the conduct of final year exams as per the UGC guidelines. Amid which India wide Parents Association held a campaign seeking the postponement of JEE Main and NEET 2020, scheduled in September. 

Simultaneously, 11 students and 11 states had filed petitions at SC expressing their concern for JEE Main 2020. In response to these petitions, a group of parents had also approached the Supreme Court urging them not to delay entrance exams for Engineering and Medical courses.
