New Delhi: NTA has not yet announced the CMAT 2023 Exam Dates, which has caused distress in MBA Aspirants. Due to this uncertainty, BSchools such as GIM, Great Lakes and BIMTECH are worried about delays in the commencement of academic session 2023-25.
Earlier, exam dates for CMAT were announced at least 4 to 5 months before the exam when AICTE used to conduct the admission test. However, since the National Testing Agency (NTA) was made the conducting authority, the exam schedule has become unpredictable.
Even after the Mid March 2023, NTA has not yet announced the CMAT exam dates for this session. In addition to this, the exam authority is struggling with the application correction window, which was earlier closed on March 16, 2023.
Due to this delay in the exam date announcement, interested candidates who wish to apply for admission to MBA and PGDM programs in top B Schools and CMAT score-accepting colleges are now worried about their admission chances.

As of now, the top MBA colleges in India are keeping their admission window open to ensure students can get admission through CMAT scores. Usually, the CMAT exam is conducted twice every year, in the months of February and September for all registered students.
As per the reports, NTA is not following the best practices like CAT or XAT. The exam dates for CAT and XLRI XAT along with other exams are released months before the exam date. However, NTA has yet to publish the CMAT notification and start the registration process.
Following the trends, CMAT 2023 exam date is expected to be in the first week of April 2023. Candidates are advised to keep a tab on the official NTA website for the latest updates on CMAT 2023 entrance exam at cmat.nta.nic.in.
