NMIMS SBM commences Admission to Dual Degree MBA Program; Apply by December 14

NMIMS School of Business Management Mumbai is now inviting applications for admission to its renowned Dual Degree MBA Course in Decision Science & Analytics and MS in Business Analytics & Information Management (BAIM).

The Dual Degree MBA program has been jointly introduced by NMIMS School of Business Management and Krannert School of Management, Purdue University.

Interested candidates can send in their applications before December 14, 2020 for the Mumbai Campus.

The program has a duration of two years with a total of five terms. Three terms will be conducted at SBM and for the other two terms, the candidate will get the opportunity to study at the Krannert School of Management.

The curriculum is designed to follow a research-based learning process which will enable students to familiarize themselves with business and polish their skills through supervised industry training.

With a goal to equip students with industry-level skill development, the program will teach students to solve problems and overcome obstacles effectively.

The course entails industry and corporate engagement including capstone projects as well as 3 months of internship at an industry partner firm.

Dr. Ramesh Bhat, Officiating Vice-Chancellor, SVKM’s NMIMS, Provost, and Dean of School of Business Management stated that, “Recent studies suggest that we need a multidisciplinary approach for management students. In a multipolar world with rising demand for a technology-proficient workforce, managers can no longer afford to think unilaterally”

He proceeded to point out that “With the current unpredictability in the global economy, we need managers who are trained in decision science and data handling. The field of decision sciences will see more than 2.7 million jobs in the coming year. Our dual program is designed to meet this rising demand for decision analysts in managerial positions.”

Candidates pursuing the Dual Degree MBA Program will be exposed to numerous career opportunities such as employment in the data science industry, risk analysis, management, business management etc.

NMIMS SBM Dual Degree MBA Admission 2020: Eligibility

MBA Decision Science & Analytics and MS in BAIM	SBM Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% aggregate overall marks Mathematics in 10+2 (mandatory) Krannert School of Management TOEFL score of 93 or above/IELTS score of 7.0 or above with minimum subsections score

Candidates will have to go through the admission process of both institutions separately. Admission to SBM will be made through NMAT by GMAC/GMAT/GRE Score. Candidates shortlisted through SBM can further apply to Krannert School of Management where they will go through an online interview round.

SBM and Krannert School of Business have both been accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). NMIMS SBM has also received A+ Grade by NAAC.
