The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued an alert warning all the medicos against fake admission letters..
Attaching a copy of the fake admission letter, the NMC informed the medical aspirants that the admission letter confirming the MBBS is fake and is not issued by the NMC or the erstwhile Medical Council of India (MCI).
WarnAlarming the MBBS aspirants across the country to be aware of the fake admission letter, the NMC issued a notice stating the confirmation of the fake admission letter, which was not issued by the NMC. Therefore, the aspiring medicos must be kindly aware of the fake letters, the NMC notice stated.

The fake admission letter mentioned the NMC confirmation stating that the applicant's application for admission into the UG program of MBBS for the academic year 2021-22 was being under the central government nomination and pull quota, and that the respective applicant has secured a seat in LOKMANYA TILAK MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL COLLEGE (SION HOSPITAL) MUMBAI.
Unscrupulously signed by the NMC authorities, the fake letter further read that the allotment letter in mop-up round will be received by the applicant after which they have to report to the allotted college.
NMC issues New Regulations for MBBS Admission 2021-22
In the earlier week, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) published an advisory for the medicos advising them to not believe any fake agent and that they should complete all the registrations and NEET 2021 choice filling process from the official MCC website, @mcc.nic.in.
In case, if the candidates encounter any fraudulent website or fraud agent, they're informed to immediately contact or notify the Medical Counselling Committee, the advisory read.
