New Delhi: The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is all set to release the examination dates for the NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) 2023 on its official website @nmat.org. The NMAT 2023 exam is expected to be held in the third week of October 2023.
The NMAT by GMAC is a National level MBA entrance exam conducted for admission to MBA, PGDM, and other Management Programs offered in accepting colleges in Accepting B-Schools, MBA colleges across India.

NMAT 2023: Registration
THE GMAC will open the registration window for NMAT 2023 in the first week of August 2023. Candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria will be eligible to register for NMAT 2023. Meanwhile, go through the following steps to register online.
Step 1: Visit the official NMAT website nmat.org.
Step 2: On the home page, Navigate to the notification section and search for the registration window and click on it.
Step 3: It will redirect you to the registration page, where you should fill all personal, educational, contact details and upload documents such as photograph, signature in the NMAT online application form.
Step 4: Finally, Check all the details and pay the application fee as prescribed.
Step 5: Take a print out of the form for all future needs and submit it.
The NMAT 2023 Registration facility will be made available for interested and eligible candidates for a period exceeding three months. Post-registration, candidates will be allowed to schedule the exam and appear as per the center and NMAT 2023 exam date chosen by them.
A test taker will be eligible to take the NMAT exam up to a maximum of 3 times (first attempt plus 2 retake attempts) including no shows, if they wish to. There is a mandatory gap of 15 days between two attempts hence early scheduling of the exam enables the test taker to plan the retakes within the testing window to improve score.
NMAT 2023 Exam Scheduling
GMAC will conduct NMAT 2023 within a specified testing window of 75-80 days. After the application submission, candidates will be able to schedule their exam timings and specify a date and test city to appear for the exam.
Only the ones who successfully schedule the NMAT exam will be able to appear. The scheduling of NMAT 2023 exam will be made accessible on the NMAT login dashboard.
NMAT 2023: Re-Scheduling
A test taker can re-schedule the test 72 hours or more before the scheduled appointment, subject to availability of seats, upon payment of the applicable fee.
NMAT 2023: Exam Pattern
The NMAT 2023 will be conducted in 2 online modes- Computer-based Test (CBT) and Internet-Based Test (IBT). Candidates opting for IBT mode will be able to appear for the exam from their home in a remote proctored environment.
The NMAT 2023 exam pattern is such that the NMAT question paper will have 108 MCQs that should be solved within 2 hours.There is a sectional time limit in NMAT 2023 exam. For every correct option, candidates will get 3 marks, while there will be no negative marking in case of wrong attempts.
NMAT 2023: Selection Process
The NMAT selection process includes Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI) rounds which are conducted by the institute's that accept NMAT scores.
- The participating institutes might also conduct a WAT (Writing Ability Test) or Case Discussion (CD) round instead of the conventional GD round.
- Candidates' final admission will be based on the candidates’ score in NMAT online test and performance in the interview round.
