December 08, 2021: Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology (NMAMIT) is now planning to offer a four-year duration B.Sc Honors program in the field of physics, math, and chemistry.
As per the latest updates, the Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology will start the admission process for its newly added B.Sc program from the academic session 2021-22.
The NMAMIT Program 2021-2022 will be offered to all interested and eligible students in accordance with National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Under the NEP 2020, students will have the option to choose the specialization of their interest after three years.
Additionally, in accordance with the guidelines released for National Education Policy, the Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology students will have the option to leave the course in between.
In case if students wish to leave the program in between, marks and certificates will be allotted to students based on their academic scores.
The newly launched four-year BSc (Honors) program of NMAMIT will aim to offer multi-disciplinary education fields to students. The course concepts will include various study-based and industry-oriented topics.
NMAMIT BSc (Honors) Course 2021-22 will mainly cover various topics from the science domain, including engineering Science, besides subjects in the emerging fields of electronics and computer science.
Additionally, the latest trending and in-demand topics such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, machine learning, cyber security, and data science will also be included in the course curriculum.
Students of the NMAMIT BSc (Honors) course will have the opportunity to apply for various internships and join research projects during their third and fourth years. Placement opportunities will also be provided to students during the placement drive.
As for the NMAMIT BSc (Honors) Course Admission 2021-22 process, the institute stated that the admission registration form will be open for all interested and eligible candidates only on the university's official website.
The admission seats for the same will be allotted to students based on their scores in Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The fixed for the program by VTU is about INR 60,000 per annum for all candidates.
As of now, the Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology (NMAMIT), Udupi offers 19 various undergraduate and postgraduate programs to students on the campus ground.
Under the UG and PG course, students can apply for BE/BTech, MBA/PGDM, MCA and ME/MTech, and other popular courses of the institute.
