New Delhi: The National Law School of India University has started accepting applications for its LLB, PhD, and Master of Public Policy programmes for the academic year 2023-24. Interested candidates can apply for NLSIU Admission 2023 on the official website - nls.ac.in.
Each of the three NLSIU programmes: LLB, PhD, and MPP (Masters in Public Policy) have different selection procedures. The NLSIU intakes students into its LLB programme through the National Law Schools Admission Test (NLSAT-LLB). The premier law university has also notified the dates of the NLSAT-LLB. The NLSAT-LLB Exam 2023 will be held on April 30, 2023. The intake capacity for NLSIU LLB 2023-24 session is 120. The application fee for NLSAT-LLB 2023 is Rs 2500 for general candidates and Rs 2000 for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD/EWS candidates.

NLSIU Admissions 2023: Eligibility Criteria
LLB Courses
The candidate should have passed Higher Secondary School Exam (10+2) or an equivalent exam in the first attempt, with not less than 50% (45% in the case of SC / ST candidates and persons with disability) in aggregate. Not completed 20 years of age as on 1st July of the year of admission. (For SC/ ST candidates the age limit is 22).
PhD Courses
- Candidate with a Master's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University are eligible to apply.
- A candidate who have passed the Company Secretaryship examination conducted by the ICS in India along with degree awarded by Associate Membership of the Institute (ACS) is eligible to apply.
- Candidates that have passed the Chartered Accountants examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants along with bachelor's degree in law with 55% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply.
MPP Courses
Candidates with a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible to apply.
NLSIU Admissions 2023: Selection Procedure
Admissions into the NLSIU Masters in Public Policy programme are done through a two-stage examination process: NLSAT-MPP (National-Level Written Examination), followed by personal interviews. The NLSAT-MPP Exam 2023 will be held on April 29, 2023. The date of the personal interviews shall be notified later by the university after the release of the NLSAT-MPP Results. The intake capacity for NLSIU MPP 2023-24 session is 100. The application fee for NLSAT-MPP 2023 is Rs 2500 for general candidates and Rs 2000 for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD/EWS candidates.
