After a number of students faced technical glitches in the NLAT 2020 examination held on September 12, 2020, NLSIU has decided to hold a re-test for such students today. A Technical Review Committee has made arrangements for the students who had raised issues during the exam to appear for NLAT Re-test on September 14, 2020 at 12:30 pm.

NLAT was held in three sessions on Saturday when the students raised concerns over technical issues relating to verification, login, facial recognition through webcams etc. Information about the NLAT re-test has been conveyed to the students who had raised queries through mails. 

According to reports, students have received the details regarding the re-test that is scheduled today. Even the students who had not registered a complaint against technical issues have received the mail regarding NLAT re-test.

The communication mail sent to students regarding NLAT re-test also informs students that:

  • The final time slot for NLAT 2020 will begin at 12 noon. After verification, the exam is scheduled to begin at 12:30.
  • If a candidate chooses to login for the NLAT re-test, his/her earlier scores and answers will be erased.
  • If a candidate does not login then the scores of the exam held on September 12 would be taken as his/her final scores.
  • Candidates must make sure that their devices satisfy the technical requirements for the smooth conduct of NLAT 2020. 
  • Since no further opportunities would be given, students must make sure that they provide their valid government ID card, have a stable internet connection that supports the test. 
  • Students can get their login details and passkey by logging in at admissions.nls.ac.in.

The admission team at NLSIU Banglore also made sure that they notify students about the login details through SMS and email as well.

Meanwhile, NLSIU Banglore has also released the provisional answer key and the question paper for both UG and PG NLAT 2020 on September 12, 2020. Students who wanted to raise objections could do so by sending an email by midnight on September 13, 2020.
