New Delhi: National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Telangana has begun the application process for MBA, BBA programmes for the academic year 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal @nithm.ac.in by July 19, 2022. 

NITHM, Telangana offers MBA, BBA, in Tourism and Hospitality, while B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration. Candidates seeking admission to the programme can submit their applications till July 19, 2022.

NITHM Admission 2022: Highlights 

The institute will conduct a written aptitude entrance test and counseling for admissions to the MBA, BBA and BSc courses. Candidates who don't have a valid score in the entrance exams can sit for the Analytical Writing Test (AWT) conducted by NITHM.

The first phase of the NITHM AWT exam will be conducted on May 20. The second phase exam will be held on June 20, and the 3rd phase is scheduled to be conducted on July 20, 2022. Results for the same will be released a day after the completion of the AWT exam. 

NITHM Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

In order to enrol for admissions into the MBA, BBA, and BSc courses, candidates will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria which are as follows: 

Eligibility Criteria for MBA (Tourism & Hospitality)

• Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for candidates from SC/ST category)
• Candidates must have appeared and qualified any of the Management Aptitude Tests viz., CAT/ MAT/ ATMA /ICET. 
• NRI/ Foreign students/ ICCR Sponsored applicants seeking direct admission, should be proficient in English language. 

Eligibility Criteria for BBA (Tourism & Hospitality)

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with obtaining a minimum 50% marks (45% for candidates from SC/ST Category). 
• The upper age limit will be 22 years (25 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST category). 
• Candidates must have qualified in any of the following Aptitude Entrance Test, such as UGAT/ JEE-NCHMCT /ATMAUG/ EAMCET/ equivalent. 
• However, candidates who have not taken any Aptitude Entrance Test, can appear for Analytical Writing Test (AWT) conducted by NITHM.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc 

• Candidates must have qualified the 10+2 system of SSC or its equivalent examination with English as one of the major subjects. 
• Candidates should have cleared English as a subject of study (elective/ core/functional) in the qualifying examination.
• Candidates who are appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examinations can also apply. 
• Provided they have to produce a passing certificate of qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) at the time of admission.

It should be noted that all the qualified candidates are required to submit a physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner at the time of admission.

NITHM Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Candidate's selection to the MBA, BBA, and B.Sc courses is strictly done on the basis of merit. 
• Qualified candidates will have to attend Group Discussion followed by Personal Interview.
• Final admission will be done depending on the Candidate's academic merit, scores in entrance exam and performance in GD and PI. 

NITHM Admission 2022]: How to Apply?

• Visit the official application portal of NITHM @nithm.ac.in. 
• Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.
• Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.
• Pay the application fee of INR 600 and submit the Application form. 
• Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
