National Institute of Technology(NIT) Jalandhar held The 16th Convocation in online mode to award 5000 students with degrees.
Professor Anil Sahasrabudhe, the chairperson of AICTE headed the NIT Jalandhar’s Covocation program as a chief guest. He handed degrees to postgraduate engineering, management, and research students.
He mentioned the progress of an increasing number of graduating students of NIT Jalandhar.
He further added that this year a total number 5000 students have passed out. In the convocation ceremony, there were 608 B Tech degrees, 72 MSc degrees, 15 MBA degrees, and 30 Ph.D. degrees were distributed.

Sahasrabudhe addressed the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020) and talked over the revised version and consulted with experts on various matters.
He revealed that the sole aim of NEP is to ensure a uniform educational system with never-ending learning opportunities all over the country.
State Minister Sanjay Dhotre congratulated all the passing out NIT students over Twitter. He tweeted about awaiting opportunities and utilizing the efforts to the fullest potential. He also shared pictures from the event.
