New Delhi: NIMHANS is inviting applications for admission to its three month certificate course on Molecular Cloning. Interested candidates can apply through the official website till November 30, 2022.

NIMHANS has released the official notification starting the application process for admission to the course. The candidates need to make their own arrangements for accommodation. There is a limited hostel facility only on prior request and it is subject to availability (fees may be charged separately)

The course will offer advanced level training in the field of genetics. The course fee is INR 15,000 and there are 3 seats available for every batch. 

Students after completion of this course will gain hands-on training in the area of molecular cloning and also get knowledge of recent advances in genome editing and its various applications. Students can use this expertise in Research Institutes, Pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, Hospitals and Universities.

Eligibility Criteria

Master degree in any branch of life sciences or Professional Bachelor degree such as MBBS, B.E, B.Tech etc. Ongoing students having final year project also encouraged to apply. 

Application procedure

Selection will be purely on merit. Candidates should send their application via Email or hard copy in the prescribed format along with the following documents: 

1. Duly filled application form. 
2. One page write up how the candidate will benefit from this course. 
3. Copies of certificates/testimonials attesting educational qualification, age, research/work experience, if any, Letter from HOD is mandatory for ongoing students.
