New Delhi: NIMHANS is currently accepting applications for its B.Sc course for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, nimhans.ac.in. The last date to apply is July 15, 2022.

NIMHANS offers its B.Sc programme in four specializations that include Anesthesia Technology, Nursing, Radiography, and Clinical Neurophysiology Technology. Candidates need to appear in an entrance exam on July 24, 2022 to get selected for the course of NIMHANS.

Candidates should complete their 10+2 in the relevant science subjects from a recognised institution to get admission to NIMHANS for the programme. Applicants who are awaiting results may also apply for the entrance exam, provided they have proof of passing the exam on or before the date of admission.

NIMHANS B.Sc Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc in Anaesthesia Technology:

  • Pass in 2-year Pre-University examination or equivalent with a Science group having secured an aggregate of 45% in Science subjects

B.Sc Nursing:

  • Passed Pre-University examination conducted by Department of Pre-University Education with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, with a minimum 45% aggregate in the above subjects. 
  • Passed Higher Secondary with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 45% 
  • Senior School Certificate Examination/Pre-Degree Examination (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum 45% aggregate.
  • An equivalent with 12 years of schooling from a recognized Board or University with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum 45% aggregate.
  • The candidate should be medically fit.

B.Sc Radiography:

  • Pre-University examination conducted by the Department of Pre-University Education or any recognized State Board with English and Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as optional subjects with 45% aggregate. 
  • Job-oriented Diploma course from a recognized board with Diagnostic Radiography as a vocational subject or equivalent.
  • Any equivalent examination recognized by NIMHANS, Bengaluru for the above purpose with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as principal subjects of study with 45% aggregate. 
  • The candidate should be medically fit.

B.Sc Clinical Neurophysiology Technology: 

  • Pre-Degree/Pre - University/12th standard with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects and having 45% aggregate in Science subjects.

NIMHANS B.Sc Admission 2022: Selection Process

  • Firstly applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the qualifying entrance examination.
  • A merit list will be prepared course-wise and reserved category-wise based on the marks scored by the candidates in the entrance test. 
  • Shortlisted candidates then need to visit the institute for the admission process.
