New Delhi: National Insurance Academy, NIA has invited online applications for admissions into its two-year full-time flagship PGDM programme for the academic year 2022-24. 

Candidates interested in seeking admissions for the PGDM programme offered by NIA can check their eligibility criteria and apply online till March 31, 2022.

The flagship PGDM programme is approved by AICTE and is equivalent to the MBA by AIU. The academy launched the PGDM programme to fulfill the growing demand of skilled professionals in Insurance and Risk Management. The institute offers dual expertise to the PGDM participants in the insurance and management sector. 

Candidates opting to pursue a PGDM course from NIA have to complete six trimesters of intense academic work along with 8-10 weeks of summer internship program to qualify for the award of PGDM degree. 

NIA Pune PGDM Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

It is mandatory for candidates seeking admission to PGDM programme to meet the eligibility criteria set by the academy, which are as follows, 

• Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate recognized by UGC or AIU. 
• Candidates appearing for final year or final semester of their graduate degree examination in academic year 2021-22 are also eligible to apply subject to completion of their examination process by June 30 2022. 
• Candidates must have a valid score in one of the MBA entrance exams – CAT 2021, CMAT 2022. 

NIA Pune PGDM Admission 2022: Step by Step NIA Pune Admission Process 

The PGDM Admission is facilitated through a rigorous selection process which requires the PGDM aspirants to have qualifying scores in the competitive entrance exam scores, better performances in GD-PI and other criteria. 

The NIA PGDM Admission 2022 process comprises the following steps, 

Step 1: Candidates must have taken up any one of the eligible entrance tests scores of CAT 2021, CMAT 2022. 

Step 2: Candidates must apply for NIA Pune admission 2022 online by paying the application fee before the deadline. 

Step 3: Completing and submitting the NIA Pune admission application form by the last date.

Step 4: Candidates are short-listed for GD & PI round from among the eligible candidates who have a valid entrance exam score and have applied to the NIA Pune PGDM Admission. 

Step 5: Post the GD-PI round, admission offers will be made by the academy to the successful candidates. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in entrance exam, performance in GD-PI round, academics among others. 

Step 6: The admissions offers will be made to the candidates based on the Final Score arrived after awarding the weightage scores on all the components. 

NIA Pune PGDM Admission 2022: How to Apply? 

Apart from sitting for the CAT/CMAT exams, the candidates will have to separately apply online for admissions into the PGDM programme. Candidates interested in applying for the PGDM programme must pay the application Fee of INR 1500 online on or before March 31, 2022. 

Further, the candidates must upload their scanned copy of the recent, sharp passport size photograph. 

NIA Pune PGDM Admission 2022: Final Selection Process & Admission Offer

Candidates must note that the academy will consider the credit for work experience during the Interview process and the final selection will be based on the Past academic record (10th, 12th & Graduation) Performance in CAT 2021/CMAT 2022 and Performance in GD and PI (PI comprises WAT). 

If selected, the candidates will receive the provisional offer letter within 24hrs. Candidates must accept the admission offer and confirm their seats.
