New Delhi: The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) has begun the registration process for The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2023 on its official website @nestexam.in, from today, February 27, 2023.
In order to enroll for NEST 2023 exams registration, Candidates can visit the official portal of NEST @nestexam.in, and complete the registration process till May 17, 2023. This year, the NEST 2023 exam will be held on June 24, 2023, at multiple centres.

Before the commencement of the entrance exams, the NIPER will issue the NEST 2023 admit card on June 12, 2023, for all the registered candidates and the NEST 2023 results will be released on July 10, 2023.
NEST 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria to apply for NEST 2023:
- Candidates must have completed class 12 in 2021, 2022 or are going to appear for the exam in 2023.
- Candidates must have at least 60% marks in class 12 from any recognized board.
- Candidates from reserved or OBC category must have been born on or before August 1, 2023.
- The SC/ST and PwD candidates will get age relaxation for 5 years.
NEST 2023: How to Apply?
Follow the steps given below for NEST 2023 Registrations;
Step 1: Visit the official application portal of NEST @nestexam.in.
Step 2: Next, Go to the homepage, click on the registration window and register yourself by entering your details.
Step 3: Now, login using your registration credentials and fill the NEST 2023 Application form.
Step 4: Submit the application fee and application form.
Step 5: Take a print out of the form and save it for all future needs.

Candidates from General, OBC category will have to pay INR 1,200, while female candidates and candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Divyangjan will have to pay INR 600 as NEST 2023 registration fee. The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a mandatory test conducted for aspirants seeking admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai.
Candidates getting admission to the NISER or CEBS will be eligible to receive an annual scholarship of INR 60,000 through the DISHA program of the Department of Atomic Energy and a grant of INR 20,000 per annum for the summer internship.
