New Delhi: The pan India counselling rounds for the NEET UG programmes will begin from January 19, 2022. Health Minister Mansukh Mandavia made the announcement on Thursday. Through his tweet, he extended his best wishes to the candidates.
The registration process for the NEET- UG Counselling rounds will start from January 19 and the seat allocation will commence on January 27 and 28, 2022.
The announcement was released on the official website after the students raised concerns multiple times.
Candidates who have successfully cleared the NEET entrance examinations are eligible for the medical college counselling process.
As per the guidelines, 15 percent of the seats in the state colleges fall under the All India Quota (AIQ). Among these, this year, 10 percent of AIQ seats will be allotted to the EWS students and 27 percent will be reserved for the OBC students.
The MCC has informed that NEET-UG will include 4 rounds of counselling this year. Candidates need to fill in their choice of colleges and courses while registering for the counselling process.
Candidates must report to their allotted colleges by February 4, 2022. After February 4, when the first round of seat allocation ends for All-India Quota, the allotment process for the state colleges will begin.

Candidates are required to carry the following documents for the NEET UG Counselling 2022:
- NEET UG Admit Card
- Result or Rank Letter
- Class 10 Pass Certificate
- Class 12 Pass Certificate
- Government issued Photo ID Proof
- Passport Size Photographs
- Caste Certificate (If applicable)
