New Delhi: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the choice filling for round 1 seat allotment of NEET UG Counselling 2022 from today, October 15, 2022. Registered candidates can now fill and lock their choices through the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.

As per the schedule released for NEET UG 2022, the choice filling for candidates was expected to start on October 14, 2022. However, it was later postponed to October 12, 2022 by MCC. Candidates are advised to fill in their choices on or before the last date of October 18, 2022. 

After the choice filling and locking, the exam authority will start the NEET UG 2022 seat allotment process. The seats will be allotted to registered candidates on the basis of their preferences, NEET rank, availability of admission seats, reservation and other criteria.

NEET UG Counselling 2022 Round 1: Steps to Fill Choices

Candidates who wish to fill their choices for NEET UG 2022 seat allotment process can now do so by following the step-by-step guide mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) at mcc.nic.in.

Step 2: From the homepage, click on the latest NEET UG Counselling 2022 Round 1 Choice Filling direct link available. 

Step 3: On the next page, log in with your NEET UG application number and other details as required. 

Step 4: Click on the choice filling portal and submit your preferences with care. 

Step 5: Review your details and save the choices for future reference. Candidates are also advised to take a printout of their preferences for future use. 

The MCC will conduct the NEET UG 2022 Counselling process in four rounds, namely AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round. The seat allotment result for all registered candidates will be published on October 21, 2022.
