New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to re-activate the online application link for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2023, despite having previously declared that the agency would restart the registration session on April 11, 2023.

Undergraduate medical students who are interested in applying for NEET UG 2023 can do so at neet.nta.nic.in shortly as NTA opens the application site. The application period for NEET UG 2023 was supposed to begin on April 11 and finish on April 13. 

Earlier today, on April 12, 2023 the NEET UG application link indicated that it was 'under repair'. Aspirants for NEET UG turned to Twitter to air their concerns with the application URL.

Once the registration link is activated and students can proceed to register to complete the application process for NEET UG 2023.

Reason Behind the Delay

NTA asserts that setting up of the registration link was postponed because the dataset was large and it took time to compile and submit the same. "Since the data is large, gathering and uploading it takes some time,” stated a senior NTA official 

“The link will be operational shortly after this stage is finished—probably by this evening—because the NIC is now working on it," he continued.

Reason Behind Reopening NEET UG 2023

According to NTA, some applicants requested reopening the NEET UG 2023 registration window since they were unable to finish their registration owing to unforeseen circumstances. 

The assessment council would reopen NEET UG registration after receiving several requests.

This chance is for individuals who weren't able to complete their enrollment previously and for new NEET UG 2023 applicants.

Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA NEET UG 2023 at neet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the registration link 

Step 3: Enter valid credentials and register

Step 4: After registration, log in.

Step 5: Enter details, upload the necessary documents and pay the fees

Step 6: Submit and download the application form for future reference
