New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will shortly begin the online NEET-UG 2022 counselling process on the official website, @mcc.nic.in.
The registration for NEET UG 2022 counselling is open to candidates from October 11 to October 17. Candidates can visit the official MCC website @mcc.nic.in website, to check the schedule.
The MCC notification revealed that the commission will conduct the NEET AIQ counselling in 4 rounds: round 1, round 2, mop-up round, and stray vacancy round.
There will be two further rounds for BDS/ BSc Nursing programmes, that is the second mop up round and the stray vacancy round.
Admission to 15% NEET-UG counselling will be used for All India Quota (AIQ) Government seats, all deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS, and JIPMER colleges.
NEET UG 2022 Counselling Schedule – Important Dates

Candidates who have qualified the NEET UG 2022 Exam, conducted by NTA on July 17, 2022 can now proceed to register for the counselling process.
NEET Counselling 2022: Registration and Choice Filling Process
Go through the step-by-step process to fill the choice and register for the NEET UG Counselling 2022.
Step 1: Visit the MCC website @mcc.nic.in and click on the “new registration” tab.
Step 2: Fill in the details such as NEET roll number, registration number, date of birth and other required information to register.
Step 3: Finally, pay the NEET UG 2022 counselling registration fee
Step 4: Now, fill in the course and list the colleges according to your preference
Step 5: Lock the preferences within the stipulated dates.
The choices will be locked automatically on the last date if any candidate fails to do so. It should be noted that there is no limit on the number of choices that can be filled.
Candidates can appear for the NEET UG Counselling 2022 choice filling and locking process, after which they can report to the allotted Medical/ Dental College for further admission.
The NEET UG 2022 counselling process will include registration, payment of fee, choice filling & locking, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted college.
According to the NEET UG 2022 schedule, the first round of counselling is scheduled to be held on October 11 and the candidates will be able to register themselves till October 17, 11 am.

The choice filling and locking process will be carried out between October 14 to 18. The MCC will announce the results of Round 1 seat allotment on October 21.
