New Delhi: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has begun the round one registration for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET UG counselling 2022, at mcc.nic.in.
The registration window for round one of NEET UG 2022 counselling will be activated till October 17, 2022 for all the eligible candidates, who will be able to fill their choice for the NEET UG counselling from October 14, 2022, onwards.
The MCC will conduct NEET UG 2022 counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 100% seats at Deemed/Central Universities, ESIC, AFMC, AIIMS, and JIPMER.
NEET UG 2022 Counselling: Important Dates

The MCC will be conducting the NEET Counselling for UG candidates in a total of 4 rounds – Round 1, Round 2, Mop Up Round and Stray Vacancy round. The counselling process is likely to conclude in the month of December 2022.
NEET UG 2022 Counselling: How to Register?
Step 1: Visit the official website mcc.nic.in and click on the tab that reads "UG Medical Counselling."
Step 2: Click on the "New Registration" Link and enter the required information, such as the roll number, registration number, name, mother's name, and date of birth, as displayed on their NEET 2022 scorecard.
Step 3: The user ID and password will be emailed to the registered email address.
Step 4: Log in and complete the NEET UG 2022 counselling registration process
Step 5: Pay the fee for NEET 2022 counselling online using a credit card or internet banking.
Step 6: Download the payment receipt for future reference

NEET UG 2022 Counselling: Documents Required
Following are the list of documents that are required during the NEET UG 2022 Counselling process.
- NEET UG Admit Card
- NEET UG Rank Card
- Photograph of the candidate
- Signature of the candidate
- Class 10 pass certificate for proof of date of birth
- Class 12 mark sheet or certificate
- Category certificate (if any)
- Character certificate
- Medical fitness certificate, And Identity Proof.
NEET UG Counselling 2022: Choice filling
With the successful registration for NEET 2022 counselling round one, the candidates will be required to choose the course and college/institute they want to enroll in.
It should be noted that there is no limit to the number of choices. Once candidates have entered their choices, they must lock them and for candidates who fail to submit their choices by October 18, the choices will be automatically locked.
During the NEET 2022 counselling process, candidates' choice of colleges, number of seats, rank in NEET-UG, and reservation will be taken into consideration. Thus, the candidates should prioritise their choices carefully.
