New Delhi: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has extended the deadline for reporting and admissions counselling for the round of NEET UG 2022 that has vacant seats. The students can check the MCC notice on the official MCC website, @mcc.nic.in.
The candidates have time till today i.e. December 29 to report to the allotted colleges till 5 pm for the vacant seats.
Due to bank holidays during the counselling time, many interested students were unable to report at the institutes, therefore MCC extended the date of reporting in response to participant requests. Therefore, the competent body has decided to extend the stray vacancy round in the greater interest of candidates.
Additionally, the last day to apply for admission to the MBBS programme through both the All India Counseling and state counselling processes is till December 29, 2022.
Previously, the deadline for reporting to allotted colleges was December 28. The MCC also released an advisory for the participating candidates, including not to follow any website other than the official MCC website for updates
Meanwhile, the MCC has released the 2nd Mop up round schedule for NEET UG Counselling. The registration process for the same begins on December 30 and will conclude on January 1, 2023.
The Choice filling and choice locking will be done from December 30 to January 1, 2023. The seat allotment result will be released on January 3 and reporting can be done from January 4 to January 8, 2023.
