New Delhi: National Testing Agency is likely to release the NEET UG 2022 Admit Card tentatively today, July 11. Though no official date has been declared for the release of the admit card, it is expected to be released within this week. Once the admit cards are released, candidates can download it online through the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
NEET-UG is conducted for candidates who want admission to various UG courses in medical fields. The NEET-UG 2022 Examination will be held on July 17, 2022 in around 543 cities in India and 14 cities outside India. It is important for the candidates to download the admit card and carry it on the day of the examination.
More than 18 lakh students are looking forward to the release of NEET UG Admit Card for this year alongside with the protests and the demand for postponement of the exam. Though the exam city allotment slips have been released to the students, NTA has not yet given any date for the release of the admit cards. Keeping in mind the trend that NTA releases NEET admit cards atleast a week before the exam, it can be speculated that the admit cards will be released latest by the end of this week.
NEET UG 2022: How to Download Admit Card?

Step 1- Visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in
Step 2- On the homepage click on “NEET-UG 2022 Admit Card” link.
Step 3- On the login page, enter the login details such as Application number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin.
Step 4- Click on “Submit” and the NEET UG 2022 Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5- Download the PDF or take a screenshot of the admit card and print it for future reference.

NEET UG 2022: Documents Needed Along with NEET Admit Card
Along with NEET UG 2022 Admit Card, medical aspirants should also carry these on the examination day:
- Passport size photograph (same as given on the application form)
- Valid ID proof (Pan Card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhar Card[with photograph]/Ration Card/ or any other Government document)
- PwD Certificate (if applicable)
- Proforma of NEET UG 2022 admit card with a postcard size photo pasted on it.

NEET UG 2022: Dress Code
The NEET authorities have mentioned dress codes for NEET- 2022 examination for males and females respectively. Candidates can check the dress code here:
Dress Code for Males
- As per the COVID 19 safety guidelines, candidates must wear a mask and gloves.
- As per the NEET dress code, male candidates should ensure that they wear half sleeve shirts/T-shirts as full sleeve shirts are not allowed on the day of the examination.
- Clothes worn by male candidates should be light i.e. zip pockets, pockets, big buttons and clothes with elaborate embroidery should not be there.
- Trousers and simple pants are a preferred NEET dress code 2022 for male candidates. Kurta pyjamas are not allowed.
- Shoes are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. It is advisable that candidates wear sandals and chappals with a thin sole.
Dress Code for Females
- Female candidates must also wear mask and gloves as per COVID 19 safety guidelines set by the authority.
- Female candidates are advised not to wear clothes that have elaborate embroidery, flowers, brooches, or buttons as this is prohibited in the NEET 2022 dress code for females specified by NTA.
- No clothes with full arm-length sleeves should be worn on the day of examination. Following the dress code of NEET 2022, female candidates should wear half sleeve clothes.
- Jeans with big pockets and fashionable clothing will generally not be allowed for females as per the NTA NEET dress code. So, female aspirants are advised to avoid wearing jeans on NEET 2022 exam day.
- Leggings are not allowed in NEET 2022
- Palazzo is not allowed in NEET 2022 as per the dress code for females.
- It is best to avoid high heels and thick sole shoes and instead opt for sandals or slippers. Low heel footwear is also allowed.
- Female candidates must avoid wearing any kind of jewelry like earrings, nose rings, rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets or anklets. Metal detectors may cause an unnecessary hassle if the metal is found on the person.

NEET UG 2022: Items Barred at Exam Centres
Candidates must keep in mind that the following items are barred at the exam centres:
- Electronic items: Mobile phones, pen drives, earphones, microphones, Bluetooth devices, and watches, are not permitted inside the examination hall.
- Eatables: Food items in any form - packed or unpacked and personal water bottles are not permitted inside the test centre. However, candidates with special conditions such as diabetes are allowed to carry their medicines, food, and a transparent water bottle.
- Stationery: Pen/pencil, paper, eraser, scales, geometry box, calculator, and log tables all are prohibited from carrying inside the test centre.
- Personal items: Wallets, goggles, belts, caps, accessories, camera, and ornaments, are not allowed to be carried inside the exam hall.

NEET UG 2022: Exam City Slip
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET-UG 2022 City Intimation Slips on its official website. All those candidates who have registered for NEET 2022 can download their Exam city slips from the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
Here are the steps to download the exam city slip:
- Visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in
- Enter the login credentials.
- The exam centre details of each student will be mentioned and they can make all necessary changes if needed for the same.
