New Delhi: Armed Forces Medical Service (AFMS) Institutions will start the admission process for its various postgraduate medical courses through NEET PG 2022 scores soon. The admission brochure for the same is now available on the official website at mcc.nic.in. 

As per the official notice released, the admission process for postgraduate medical courses is expected to start soon for AFMC Pune, INHS Asvini Mumbai, IAM Bangalore, CH (WC) Chandimandir, and other campuses of AFMS Institutions around the country. 

Once after the release of AFMS PG Medical Admissions 2022, interested candidates will be able to apply for PG course admissions on the official website of DGHS at mcc.nic.in. To apply for admission, applicants are required to have a valid score in NEET PG 2022 Exam.

Armed Forces Medical Service (AFMS) Institutions offer various postgraduate training programs to paramilitary personnel, individuals sponsored by friendly foreign nations or other government agencies, former service members, or civilian doctors. 

Interested candidates who wish to apply for AFMS PG Medical Admission 2022 can check the detailed eligibility criteria and selection process for the same mentioned below: 

• Candidates must have completed their graduation from medical schools recognized by the National Medical Council.
• The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
• Candidates must have a valid score in NEET PG 2022 conducted by NTA.
• Those who do not meet the required criteria will not be accepted for admission. 
• Those who failed to submit the required documents in time will not be considered for the admission process. 
• A candidate who is already enrolled in a PG course is not eligible to apply. 

AFMS PG Medical Admission 2022: Application Process

Once after the release of the admission schedule, candidates can apply for AFMS PG Medical Admission 2022 by submitting their application forms. After the application submission, applicants will be further shortlisted for the admission process. 

For admission to any of the AFMS institutions will be required to appear in the NEET-PG 2022. Based on marks secured in the qualifying entrance exam, they will be further called for counselling sessions. The merit list for the same will be published on the institute’s website.

To be eligible for AFMS PG counselling, all candidates must register and select AFMS on the Medical Counseling Committee website, mcc.nic.in. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the printed registration slip produced at the time of physical counselling.

A merit list of applicants who successfully enrolled on the DGHS/MCC website and received at least 50 percentile marks on the NEET PG 2022 exam will be made available online. Only these applicants will be provisionally qualified for the AFMS PG counselling.

To be eligible for NEET PG counselling, candidates who wish to take part in the mop-up round of AFMS counselling must register on DGHS/MCC website. For more details on the admission process, candidates are advised to go through the detailed admission brochure.
