New Delhi: National Board of Examinations (NBE) will declare the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2023 result by March 31, 2023. Once released, candidates will be able to check their result status on the official website at natboard.edu.in.
As per NBE, the result will be released for over two lakh candidates who registered for NEET PG 2023 exam. However, the exam authority will not publish the NEET PG 2023 Answer key. It will also not entertain any request for answer key, answer sheets or other related exam content.
The NEET PG Result 2023 will be prepared as per the marking scheme of NBE. For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded four marks (+4) and one mark (-1) will be deducted for a wrong answer. No marks will be deducted from candidates for unattempted answers.
In addition to the result, NBE will release the NEET PG 2023 cut-off scores for all candidates to check on or before March 31, 2023. For this session, the qualifying cut-off percentile is 50 for GN, 45 for GN-PwD and 40 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories candidates.
Based on marks secured by candidates in NEET PG 2023, they will be shortlisted for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), PG Diploma, and DNB CET courses. The seats will be allotted to eligible applicants at NEET PG scores accepting colleges and participating institutes.
Earlier, the NEET PG 2023 Exam was successfully conducted on March 5, 2023 for all registered candidates. The entrance test was held at various NEET PG exam centers across the country in an online computer-based mode.
The question paper included 200 Multiple Choice Questions, which had to be answered within the given duration. Those who appeared for the exam shared that the question paper was moderately difficult and few questions were very similar to the previous year's papers.
