The examination will begin from 9 a.m. and finish at 12 p.m. Candidates must carry NEET PG 2022 Admit Card and other required documents to the examination centre.
Even though candidates of NEET PG exam are fairly experienced, there are always chances of making mistakes on or before the exam date. This is why it is important to revisit the exam-day guidelines before D-Day.
NEET PG 2022: Exam-Day Guidelines
Here are some of the most significant guidelines and tips that NEET PG exam candidates must abide by for doing well in their upcoming exam.
- Take Adequate Rest at the Night before the Exam:
It is very tempting to pull up an all-nighter right before the exam to revise again and again all the relevant topics and questions. Problematically, that is not the right way to score more. To stay alert and do well in the exam, candidates must need to rest adequately before the exam day. It is advisable to plan the revision thoroughly so that there is no need to stay awake the whole night. Only a rested mind can do well in the exam.
- Pack Whatever is Required a Day in Advance:
Quite often it happens that students forget the crucial documents as they pack all those in a hurry, before leaving for the examination centre. This is why it is important that students should pack whatever documents they require, at the night before the exam day. Documents such as NEET PG 2022 Admit Card, Registration Certificate, ID Proof are absolutely must for seeking entry in the examination centre.
- Read the Instruction Manual:
There is a reason why the guidelines are printed on the back of NEET PG Admit Card. Students must read the instructions carefully to know what is appropriate for the exam centre and what is prohibited. Not observing these rules, might lead to cancellation of the candidature.
- Eat Adequately and Healthy:
A common tendency among students is to avoid meals before the exam day. On the other hand, some students tend to binge eat to relieve the stress related to this exam. Both of these can lead to compromised health conditions like upset stomach, dizzy brain, nausea, heart-burn and so on. To avoid all these, candidates are advised to eat adequately and have healthy, easy to digest food.
- Reach the Exam Centre Before Scheduled Time:
The reporting time for NEET PG 2022 exam is 7 a.m. and students are permitted to seek entry latest by 8:30 a.m. Later than that, candidates will not be allowed in the exam centre. There might be traffic or any other issue. Therefore, to avoid unnecessary stress, try to reach the examination centre before the scheduled time. It is always better to wait in front of the centre rather than worrying about reaching the place.
- Be Calm while Reading the Question Papers:
It is not uncommon for students to lose their patience while reading the question paper. This may lead to misreading many questions, misunderstanding what is required or so on. It is important for candidates to be calm and read the questions patiently to understand what exactly they are required to do.
- Revise and Then Leave the Examination Centre:
It is quite natural for students who finish early to leave the centre even before the scheduled time. However, they should utilise the extra time to thoroughly revise everything they have written so far, whether any question is left or not and so on. This way they won’t have to worry or doubt regarding their answers.
