New Delhi: Despite the postponement demands of thousands of candidates, NTA has conducted the NEET PG Exam 2022 on May 21, 2022. Due to this, student organizations are now requesting a "second chance" to appear for the NEET PG exam for registered candidates.

NEET PG 2022: Student Union Demands Health Ministry to Hold Exam Twice

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and AIOBCSA have urged the government to give one more opportunity to registered candidates for the NEET PG 2022 Exam as they could not prepare for the exam due to uncertainty caused by the exam schedule.

In a press release shared by ABVP, the student organization has demanded the authority to provide ease to students in NEET PG 2022 examination. Students have already gone through a period of uncertainty due to problems caused by the exam schedule, the officials added.

"We demand from the government that after considering all the subjects sensitively, students should be given one more opportunity and conselling for the year 2022 should be done only after the second chance examination" the notice reads.

The student union further requested students who are preparing for the exam to keep their morale strong. The union has earlier submitted a memorandum for the request and had discussions with the officials of the Ministry and the Health Minister.

Expressing their concerns about this situation, the All India OBC Student Association (AIOBCSA) stated, "We demand MoHFW_INDIA to give one more opportunity for the NEET PG aspirants and conduct the examination in all languages"

"We also demand proper implementation of reservation policy in the allocation of the seats” the official tweet further reads.

Earlier, students have been demanding the postponement of the NEET PG Exam 2022 due to the clash of exam dates with the NEET 2021 counselling. Some students requested exam postponement, while others urged the authorities to conduct the exam as per schedule.

As per the student union, students were unable to prepare for the exam as there was less gap between the conselling session for NEET 2021 and the NEET PG Exam 2022 Exam Dates. Despite the request of students, the supreme court dismissed the plea for exam postponement.

In the final verdict release, the supreme court has stated that the NEET PG Exam 2022 Postponement will create a situation of chaos and uncertainty for over 2 lakh students who are preparing for the same. Due to this, the exam schedule can not be delayed any further.
