New Delhi: NEET PG 2022 was successfully conducted today, May 21, 2022, from 9 am to 12:30 pm. The exam was held to offer admission in MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses in all medical colleges and universities in India except AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER, SCTIMST and NIMHANS.
NEET PG 2022 was held across 255 exam centres in online mode. As the exams are over now, unofficial answer keys will be available soon. Additionally, candidates can use NEET College Predictor to check colleges where they can get admission based on their performance in the exam.
As per the NEET PG 2022 dates, NBE is likely to declare the results on June 20, 2022. Along with this, the scorecards will be released on the same day. After the results are out, NBE will declare NEET PG 2022 cutoffs. Counselling dates are not yet out.
NEET PG 2022: Students’ Reaction & Paper Analysis
As per the students who appeared for NEET PG 2022 exam today, the question paper was balanced. The question paper included an equal number of tough and easy questions.
Most of the questions were application-based. Hence, some students have found it difficult as the question pattern has changed compared to previous years when most of the questions were directly asked regarding the concepts. Many questions were from Pathology, Gynaecology etc.
A student remarked, “Most of the questuins were from obstetrician-gynecologis, Preventive and Social Medicine. Few questions were tricky, few were vauge and few were very easy. Totally It was moderate to difficult.”
As per experts, however, the question paper was moderately difficult, although the sample papers had similar questions. It is said, the paper might have been moderately difficult for average students to attend.
NEET PG 2022: Exam Pattern
This year, the NEET PG 2022 exam pattern was revised and the total number of MCQ-type questions has been reduced to 200 from 300. As a result, candidates had to appear in the 800 marks exam rather than 1200, as earlier.
The question paper was divided into 3 sections that include Part-A: Pre-Clinical, Part-B: Para-Clinical, and Part-C: Clinical.
For every correct response, candidates will be awarded 4 marks, while 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. NEET PG 2022 test was held in a computer-based mode for an estimated time of 3 hours 30 minutes.
Last year, NBE reduced NEET PG 2021 cut off by 15 percentile for all categories. Hence, the revised NEET PG Cut off 2021 was 247, 210, and 229 for General, SC/ST/OBC, and UR-PwD categories, respectively.
Meanwhile, the revised qualifying NEET PG percentile was 35, 30, & 25 for GN, GN-PWD & SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories. Candidates who fail to secure the minimum marks required are not eligible to attend NEET PG 2022 counselling.

NEET PG 2022 results are likely to be declared in June 2022. Steps to check the NEET PG 2022 Result and scorecard are mentioned below:
- Visit the official website of NBE
- Click on the link for “NEET PG 2022 Results”.
- Enter the testing ID and date of birth to download the result.
- Check the score and qualifying status.
Candidates are advised to download the final scorecard as it would be required at the time of counselling as well as final reporting for the college admission process.
