New Delhi: Dr Rohan Krishnan, National President and Founding Member of the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA), has hinted that the NEET PG 2022 counselling is expected to start in the first week of July 2022.

He has tweeted that according to his source in the Ministry, the NEET PG 22 counselling is likely to begin from the first week of July 2022. 

Although there's no update about the NEXT, the exam is not good for Indian Graduates & makes no sense for a full fledged Indian MBBS Doctor to appear for the license exam again. Consequently, he concluded the tweet by opposing it. 

Meanwhile, it is expected that the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the NEET PG 2022 counselling schedule soon on its official website. 

Medical aspirants seeking admissions in MS or MD or Postgraduate Medical Diploma courses in top-rated government, private, and deemed universities in India will have to register for the NEET PG 2022 Counselling, after which they shall be allocated a seat in an institute of their preference.

A merit list based on the NEET PG 2022 cut-off will be released by the national board of examination (NBE). The NEET PG 2022 Counselling will be entirely conducted on the basis of the rank and the score on the NEET exam.

The NEET PG Counselling process includes 5 steps- registration, choice filling & locking, document verification, declaration of seat allotment result, and reporting at the allotted college.

NEET PG counselling 2022: How to Register? 

Following are the steps to register for the NEET PG 2022 Counselling. 

Step 1: Visit the official website of MCC @mcc.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, Click on the link ‘NEET PG counselling 2022 registration’. 

Step 3: Fill in the required details such as name, date of birth, roll number, NEET PG 2022 application form number, security code and other asked information.

Step 4: Verify the entered details and then click on ‘Submit’.

Step 5: Login credentials for NEET PG counselling will be generated.

Step 6: Login using the generated credentials and enter personal details such as parents’ details, contact details, category, and nationality.

Step 7: Enter NEET PG details such as application number and roll number. Finally, save and pay the NEET PG registration fee in online mode 

Step 8: Download and take printout out of the registration slip for future reference.

NEET PG 2022 Counselling: Documents Required 

Some of the mandatory documents required to be produced by the aspirants for NEET PG 2022 counselling are as follows: 

  • Mark Sheets of MBBS/BDS professional examinations
  • MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate
  • NEET PG 2022 admit Card
  • NEET PG result 2022
  • Date of birth proof
  • Valid ID proof
  • Caste certificate
  • Disability Certificate
  • Completion certificate of internship for NEET PG by July 31, 2022
  • Permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council (SMC)

NEET PG 2022 counselling: Choice filling and Locking 

During the NEET PG counselling process, the candidates will have to provide their preferences of courses and colleges. The authority will allot the seats based on the choices filled by the candidates. 

After the arrangement of the preferences, candidates will have to lock the entered choices by clicking on ‘Save & Next’. Failing to do so, the choices will be automatically locked on the deadline. 

The NEET PG counselling 2022 will be held for AIQ seats in government institutions, central universities, deemed universities, ESIC, and AFMS institutes across the country.
