Foreseeing the challenges faced by JEE Main and NEET 2020 candidates to reach their exam centres, Indian Railways will run special trains from 4-15 September in Rajasthan.

As per the tweet by Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Railways, the North-Western Railway will offer to run 4 pairs of special trains for the convenience of JEE Main and NEET students.

The tweet by Piyush Goyal reads, “Indian Railways have decided to run 4 pairs of special trains between 4th and 15th September for the convenience of students taking JEE Mains, NEET, NDA and other examinations in Rajasthan.”

An official press release has been issued by North Western Railways stating the same. It elaborates, saying trains will ply from Sri Ganganagar to Kota, Udaipur to Jaipur and Jaipur to Bikaner routes.

The National Testing Agency will be conducting the JEE Main 2020 from September 1-6 while the NEET 2020 will be held on September 13. 

NTA has enforced elaborate arrangements this year to conduct NEET and JEE Main as the exams are being conducted amid a pandemic. 

From social distancing at exam centres to thermal screening, sanitising hands all possible measures are being taken. 

Few candidates have been seated in one room, exam centres have been doubled to avoid staggering at the entrance points. The candidates have been seated maintaining sufficient social distancing.
