The Ministry of Health recently released the revised Guidelines for Examinations and SOPs.

The notice read, "Examination centres are frequented by a large number of students, as well as their parents and staff, up to the entire duration of the exam and it is therefore vital to plan and carry out these exams while following specific preventive measures."

The Odisha Government also provides the students in Bhubhaneshwar with free accommodation for the exam to be held on September 13, 2020.

Special arrangements for the same were made by Bhubaneshwar Municipal Corporation. Student lakhs from remote areas also travel to nearest towns to appear for medical and dental college entrance test.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and consequent lockdowns, the decision was taken as normal accommodation and transport facilities were disrupted.
