DMRC has announced that the metro operation will start from  6:00 AM on all sections from this Sunday, September 13. The service is set to ease the transportation problem of the NEET 2020 

aspirants in the NCR as the candidates will appear for the NEET 2020 examination on September 13, 2020

Earlier this week, DMRC started resuming its services in a phased manner and is now all set to run the metro on the pre-COVID times. Unlike the usual, 8:00 am Sunday timing of the Delhi Metro, the officials have taken the decision to run metro from  6:00 AM this Sunday.

"DMRC will begin its services from 6 am this Sunday. “This Sunday, 13th September, Metro operations will start at 6:00 AM on all sections. Starting next Sunday, 20th September, regular timings as per earlier time table with services starting at 8:00 AM on Phase 3 sections (on Sundays) will continue,” DMRC tweeted.

In the interest of NEET aspirants, several states have also resumed their local transport services to help students reach exam centres without any hassle.

State of West Bengal earlier decided to run special services on September 13 to help NEET aspirants reach the examination centres. In order to avail the service, the state government has informed that the candidates and those accompanying them can use the NEET admit card.

This year the NEET examination has been postponed multiple times and is now finally scheduled to be conducted during the ongoing pandemic with the measures announced by the Union Health Ministry of India.
