MNLU Nagpur to Host its First Convocation on February 11; Read Details Here

New Delhi: Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Nagpur is preparing to host its first convocation on February 11, 2023. The event will be attended by Chief Justice of India, Justice DY Chandrachud, who will also be the chief guest.

As per MNLU Nagpur, the convocation will be presided over by Justice Bhushan R. Gavai, Chancellor of the University and Judge of the Supreme Court of India. The first convocation of the university is scheduled for February 11, 2023 (Saturday) at 12:00 noon, according to the official notification.

The event will be attended by the graduated students of the B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) Five-Year Integrated Degree Course Batch 2016 and Batch 2017, LL.M. One-Year Postgraduate Degree Courses of Batch 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, and Research Scholars who have been awarded PhD (Doctor of Philosophy).

Informing about the MNLU Nagpur Convocation 2023, the official notice reads, "The interested Graduates and Research Scholars who wish to receive the Degree in person on the Day of Convocation are required to Register their willingness along with the necessary details through the official website.

"The last date to submit registrations for the same is January 19, 2023 (Thursday) for all interested candidates. The Parents of Graduated Students and Research Scholars can accompany the Convocation," added the notification.

In addition to this, the MNLU Nagpur will organise its two-day international seminar on Law and Dharma on January 19 and January 20, 2023. Also, it will host a national conference will be convened to discuss new trends and difficulties in the protection of intellectual property on January 28, 2023.

Various problems and practical difficulties brought on by new developments and shifting aspects of intellectual property law will be discussed at this conference, and solutions for the same will be offered by the participants.
