MNLU Mumbai Deferred BBA LLB (Hons); Revises BA LLB, LLM Seat Matrix

New Delhi: MNLU Mumbai has informed that it has deferred the BBA LLB (Hons) program for the academic session 2022-2023. The institute will only offer BA LLB (Hons) program for the academic year 2022-2023.

MNLU Mumbai will take 100 students for the BA LLB undergraduate programme via CLAT. The seat intake for MNLU LLM course is 50. All these are subject to Maharashtra State Reservation Norms as approved by the Executive Council.

There are supernumerary seats for BA LLB (Hons) of MNLU Mumbai. 2 seats are available for permanent residents of J&K in accordance with the UGC directives each for the BA LLB (Hons) programme and 20 for the Foreign National/NRI/NRI sponsored category.

The official notification says, "LLM will be offered in three specializations i.e. Corporate and Commercial Laws, Constitutional and Administrative Laws and Maritime Laws. Each specialization for LLM shall have a minimum of 10 candidates and a maximum of 30 candidates. Accordingly, the seat allocation shall depend upon merit, preference and availability of seats for that specialization."

MNLU Admission to LLM course will have Supernumerary seats are 10 for the Foreign National/NRI/NRI sponsored category and 2 for permanent residents of J&K. The Horizontal reservations are as:

30% for women across all categories
5% seats for Specially Abled Persons (SAP). Certificate of Disability issued by Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India needed.
5% seats of the total sanctioned intake for an institute, shall be reserved for wards of Ex-Servicemen/ Defence Personnel. Ex-Servicemen / Defence Personnel Certificate from the respective department Unit/Dept/HQ/Records/RSWO/Army/Navy/Air Force HQ is required.
