MHT CET 2021 has commenced on September 20, 2021 for PCM group. Shift 1 of the exam was held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. MHT CET 2021 is being held in online mode. MHT CET 2021 consisted of three sections namely- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. All three sections included 50 questions each. For every correct answer, 2 marks will be awarded to the candidates. It is expected that the authorities will release MHT CET 2021 Results by October 20.

MHT CET 2021 Paper Analysis (Shift I – September 20, 2021)
Shift 1 of MHT CET 2021 concluded at 12:00 pm for PCM. Given below is the analysis based on the reactions of the candidates who appeared in the exam.
- The overall difficulty of the exam was considered to be moderate.
- The Mathematics section contained some lengthy questions.
- The Mathematics section was of moderate difficulty level.
- The Physics section contained a decent number of questions from Optics and Wave.
- The Chemistry section was considered to be easy.
- About 20% of the questions were based on the 11th standard syllabus.
- About 80% of questions came from the 12th standard syllabus.
- A total of 25 questions in the mathematics section were easy.
- Physics contained a total of 20 easy questions.
- The mathematics section contained a decent number of questions from Integration, Vector 3D, and Differential Calculus.
- The Chemistry section contained a good amount of questions from Coordinate Compounds and Chemical Bonding.
- No question came from the deleted syllabus.
MHT CET 2021 Paper Analysis (Shift II – September 20, 2021)
MHT CET 2021-Shift 2 for PCM concluded at 6:00 pm on September 20, 2021. Paper analysis based on students reactions of students who appeared in the exam is given below:
- The overall difficulty level was considered to be moderate.
- Mathematics section had a moderate to difficult level.
- Chemistry section was easy in terms of difficulty level.
- There were a good number of questions from Alcohol/Phenol/Ether, Electrochemistry, and s,p,d & f block elements.
- Physics section contained a decent number of questions from Measurement, SHM& Waves, and Optics.
- The mathematics section had a high weightage from topics like integration, trigonometry, probability, and Vector 3D.
- With the exception of the Mathematics section, Day 1 Shift 2 Paper had a moderate level.
MHT CET Answer Keys will be released by the conducting authority soon. The authority also releases response sheets containing the students’ marked responses. Objections can be raised in MHT CET answer keys with a fee payment of INR 800 for general category and INR 600 for reserved categories.
