New Delhi: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has launched the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) portal for the academic year 2022-23. Though the dates for counselling have not been finalised yet, the candidates who have qualified the entrance examination can access the MHT CET CAP 2022 portal on the official website - cetcell.mahacet.org.
MHT CET had previously released the scores for various subjects – physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics. Among the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) group, a total of 13 students scored a cent percentile, whereas the number of students scoring a 100 percentile in the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group, stood at 14.
This year, a total of 605944 (282070 in PCM and 323874 in PCB group) candidates registered for the MHT CET exam, which was much higher than last year’s number of registrations (517132). Out of 605944, 467379 (231264 in PCM and 236115 in PCB group) candidates appeared for the exams this year.
Students willing to get BTech admission at MHT CET 2022 participating institutes will have to register online for the counselling process. The authorities will soon declare the counselling dates over the CAP Portal.
Steps to Register for MHT CET Counselling 2022
Students can follow the below mentioned steps to successfully register themselves online for MHT CET Counselling 2022:
- Visit the MHT CET 2022 website- cetcell.mahacet.org
- Click on MHT CET counselling registration link
- Enter basic details like name, gender, parents' name and more in the required field
- Create a password as per the parameters.
- Once registration is completed, enter other required information such as educational qualification.
- Upload scanned images of photograph and signature as per the specification.
- Make application fee payment in online mode. ( Candidates applying through MHT CET exam need not to pay the counselling registration fee. Only candidates who will register through JEE Main will have to make application fee payment).
- Click on submit button and take a printout of filled in MHT CET counselling form 2022.
The seat allotment will be done based on the score acquired by the candidate. Those who are not able to lock a seat in the first round, will be allowed to appear for the next round of counselling.
