Maharashtra Government will announce the  MHT CET 2020 exam dates  soon on the official website. The State CET cell will announce the exam dates for admission to engineering, pharmacy, hotel management, architecture, etc as soon as the government gives a green signal.

As per the Media Reports, the Commissioner of CET Cell, Sandeep Kadam said that the examination would be held online, but not in a proctored manner and there was no chance of considering  JEE Main  scores for engineering admissions.

“We have proposed to the state government regarding the conduct of the  MHT CET 2020  entrance exam. We are in process of finalising the dates. It is difficult to declare it now. As soon as the instructions are issued by the government nod, we will reveal the dates”, he said.

On JEE Main score, Kadam further added, it was not under consideration for the time being. Also the CET was online already and the proctored exam was not yet considered.

Previously the MHT CET exam was scheduled to be held in June, later it postponed to July, currently delayed till further notice.

According to the statistics, 4,45,780 application forms have been received for the CET entrance exam in PCM and PCB group.

D.R. Nandanwar, Joint Director of Technical Education said, the private and deemed universities can follow their own admission process to admit students.

But the admission process must be done on the basis of the merit. Private and deemed universities are not bound to take admission through MHT CET 2020.
