Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) cell has announced that applicants who sat for the CET exams will receive full scores for the 29 questions which had errors in them. The CET exams were held in September and October 2020.
As of yet, the MHT-CET results have not been released. This is due to the objections that were raised by many students over the questions that were asked in the paper. After weeks of delay, the CET cell has now finally announced that 29 objections have been accepted and students will be given full marks against those questions.

The circular announcing this was released on the website and many students cheered as the decision was made. Abhay Joshi, an aspirant said that a large number of students had raised a lot of objections against many questions.
He further said that most of the students were confident that their objections would be accepted since the questions themselves were wrong and the applicants had the proof to show for it. In many cases, the correct option was not among the options and the applicants were left confused during the exam.
The circular informed that objections against 65 questions were accepted. The questions against which full marks have been awarded were found to have some problems with the options or the question itself. The notice also listed the question for which the objections were raised and accepted.

This year, many entrance examinations across the country were either canceled or delayed due to the pandemic. However, the state CET cell managed to conduct the exam in September despite the situation. But due to many complaints from students who were unable to appear, another round was conducted in October.
The CET cell announced the answer key on November 10 and started the process for objections from November 10 till November 12. The notice regarding the objections came more than 2 weeks later.
The circular said that a report has been submitted by the experts and changes in the merit list will be made accordingly. The result for the MHT-CET would then be declared on November 28.
