New Delhi: Mahatma Gandhi University, MGU, Kottayam has invited applications for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered at the inter–school centres. 

Candidates interested in pursuing UG or PG or various integrated programmes offered by MGU Kottayam can apply for the online registrations from March 7, - April 7, 2022.

Candidates intending to obtain admissions into the M.Tech, MBA, BBA–LLB (Hons) Courses will have to sit for an entrance exam conducted by the University. Post the exam, the qualified candidates will be called for an interview, group discussion, and written test. 

Candidates who will qualify these stages will be accepted for admissions into these courses offered by MGU.

Candidates should note that in order to appear for the MG University Common Aptitude Test, MGU CAT, they can submit a single application for up to four programmes at various departments. However, they have to pay a separate application fee. Candidates are not required to submit more than one application.

The university has scheduled to conduct the MGU CAT 2022 exam, on May 28 and 29, 2022, at different exam centres located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Kozhikode and Kannur.

• The University will conduct the MGU CAT 2022 examination for all programmes except International students quota seats and MBA Programme.
• The Interview/Group Discussion/ Descriptive examination will be conducted among the university departments which consider marks of interview /Group Discussion/ Descriptive examination in addition to the marks secured in the Entrance test for admission.
• For admission to M.Tech programmes, candidates with a valid GATE score will be exempted from appearing for entrance test and given preference but need to apply for the programme via the university portal. 
• In the case of MBA programmes in School of Management & Business Studies, admission procedures will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of AICTE and Admission Supervisory Committee (ASC).

Candidates should that the application to register for the entrance exam, MGU CAT 2022, will be available only through the online mode. 

Candidates can register only one application for a maximum of four different programmes. However, the candidate is required to pay separate application fee for different programmes. If a candidate submits more than one online application, their candidature is liable to be cancelled.
