MDS Admission 2021: After appearing for NEET MDS Exam 2021, All-India entrance exam, 30,000 Masters in Dental Surgery (MDS) students are still waiting for the admission process for the course to begin.

MDS Admission 2021: NEET MDS Aspirants Still Wait for Admission to Begin

Masters in Dental Surgery (MDS) aspirants who appeared for the NEET MDS entrance exam have now started an online petition on various social media platforms in order to attract the attention of the government, and admission authority on the delay of the admission process.

Referring to the issue, one of the aspirants stated that they have also written to the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) regarding the delay in the admission process.

In the response, the authority stated that MDS Admission 2021 process will start along with the post-graduate medical and diploma admission process.

"Until the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for PG candidates is not conducted, we have no option but to wait, which is unacceptable anymore," the aspirant further added.

Due to the increasing cases of coronavirus pandemic in the country, the examination for final year postgraduate medical students has been stalled further. As a result, final year PG medical, and dental examinations in Maharashtra state are still yet to be conducted.

Additionally, the postponement of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-PG) Exam 2021 due to the pandemic situation has further delayed the admission process for PG medical, dental, and diploma courses.

National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-PG) Exam 2021 was earlier expected to be conducted in the month of December 2020, along with NEET MDS 2021 examination for all registered candidates.

In 2020, due to the surge of covid-19 cases, the NEET PG examination for medical, and diploma students was postponed to ensure the safety of the students, while the MDS entrance examination was conducted as per the schedule.
