New Delhi: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the list of eligible NRI candidates for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) counselling for round 2 seat allotment. Candidates can check the complete list on the official website at mcc.nic.in.
As per MCC, the candidates whose names are mentioned in the "list of eligible NRI candidates" released for round 2 counselling of NEET UG 2022 will be treated as NRI candidates for future counselling processes. These candidates will not be able to avail the benefit of any other quota.
The official notice informs that the list has been released for candidates who have been provisionally converted from Indian to NRI for the purpose of NET UG Counselling 2022-23 on the basis of scrutiny of documents sent by them to the MCC of DGHS.
"However, the candidates have to produce the same original documents at the time of reporting in case NRI seats are allotted to them", the notice reads. Failing to do so can result in the cancellation of seats therefore applicants are directed to follow the guidelines as mentioned.
NEET UG Counselling 2022: How to Check List of Eligible NRI Candidates?
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) at mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: From the homepage, click on the latest “List of Eligible NRI Candidates for NEET UG Round 2 Counselling 2022” link available.
Step 3: The list of eligible candidates for NEET UG Round 2 Counselling 2022 will be published on the screen.
Step 4: Check the details with care and download the same for future reference.
Earlier, the MCC extended the last date for choice filling for NEET UG Counselling 2022 up to November 09, 2022, till 11:55 pm. The choice filling will be made available today, November 09, 2022, from 11:55 pm on the official website at mcc.nic.in.
In addition to this, 22 MBBS seats have been removed from NEET Counselling 2022 Seat Intake, which includes Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Government Medical College Durg whose recognition has been revoked from NMC resulting in withdrawal from NEET UG.
