New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has decided to add two more seats in the Doctor of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) programs in NEET Round 2 Counselling 2022 seat matrix.
As per MCC, the authority has informed Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) is unable to contribute seats to NEET SS Counselling 2022 process before the commencement of round 1 counselling. Due to this, the authority has decided to include more seats in the seat matrix.
Following the decision, there are now two more seats included in MCh Neuro Surgery program for round 2 of NEET SS Counselling 2022 process. The seat allotment process for the same commenced from December 25 to December 26, 2022.
Registered candidates who are allotted seats through round 2 counselling of NEET SS have to report to colleges from December 28, 2022 to January 02, 2023. Failing to do so can result in seat cancellation of the applicants therefore they are advised to follow the schedule carefully.
Informing about the addition to seats, the officials stated that the step has been taken to prevent the wastage or loss of precious super speciality seats offered to students. Candidates who have registered for the counselling can check the detailed seat matrix on the official website of MCC.
Earlier, the registration window for NEET SS counselling 2022 round 2 was open from December 19 to December 24, 2022. Interested and eligible candidates were required to complete their application and pay of registration fee by December 24, 2022.
After the registration process, applicants are offered seats in NEET SS scores accepting colleges through counselling. The seats have been allotted based on the choices filled by candidates, availability of admission seats and rank secured in NEET SS 2022.
